     Why Aussiedoodles

Doodles are “designer dogs.”  Each doodle is a hybrid dog breed resulting from breeding a Poodle with another purebred breed Australian Shepherd. Both Australian Shepherds and Poodles are highly intelligent breeds, making the Aussiedoodle one smart cookie. Aussiedoodles are among the smartest designer dogs in the world as Poodles are the second most intelligent dog in the canine realm, in this regard, the Australian Shepherd, its other parent, is no less either.

In addition to their intelligence, Aussiedoodle are also very sensitive. Their sensitivity allows them to connect to human companions excellently. This is why Aussiedoodles serve as companion dogs offering emotional support to the elderly and the sick also making a great family pet.

Why Australian Shepherd

If you are seeking a loving, friendly, and loyal companion, then the Australian Shepherd will be a wonderful addition to your family. Aussies are extremely smart and focused. They thrive on human companionship, for that, they can be the ideal family dog. If you have an active lifestyle and are in need of an intelligent dog who wants nothing more than to work hard and please you, then an Australian shepherd is the right dog for you. They will require some work, mental stimulation and obedience training to be a balanced and well-behaved dog. Yes, they are high energy, but not to the extent that you would seem to think. They enjoy the company of their family and prefer to stick close to their human pack. They are born lovers, love to play, love their family. You might think an Aussie would need a home with a huge backyard, but they can adapt to any environment as long as their family gives them a couple hours of hearty exercise every day. That can be as simple as playing fetch, with a ball, up and down the set of stairs to your home's basement. Aussies are bred to work with people.

Aussies are the happiest when he has a job to do. Keep him occupied by giving tasks that he will love to do, such as bringing in the mail and newspaper. If your pup gets bored, it will quickly create a duty of his own that could become annoying. Make sure to have plenty of toys or chew bones around to keep them occupied in their down time. Also give your Aussie lots of contact with friends, family and neighbors to help him polish his social skills.

Five best things about Aussies

  1. They are generally super-smart, one of the smartest breeds.

Aussies have big brains. They are equipped with keen minds and sharp observation skills. They will fit right in with your rambunctious family.

  1.  Protective

Aussies can stare into your soul with their amazing gaze. Their marbled eye coloring makes their stare even more interesting. Their observant behavior means they are keeping track of your every move and will always be by your side as your protector.

  1.  Energetic

They are very active yet easy-going dogs that love to romp with children and they tend to get along well with other pets.

  1.  Family lovers

Aussies have wonderful personalities and adapt well to families with children. They are not aggressive dogs and make ideal companions in an active household. They are devoted to their humans.

 Wiggle butt

When they get excited or happy, they will shake their whole back end. Since their tails typically get docked as babies, they do not have a tail to wag. Therefore, they will shake their whole butt like they would their tail. It is by far the cutest thing you will ever see!

Our Aussidoodle and Australian Shepard puppies are born from full-breed Australian Shepherds and Poodles.

About us

We are a big family of 8 children, 5 beautiful daughters and 3 handsome boys. Our family is a big lover of all animals. We enjoy the outdoors, my husband and boys enjoy hunting with our German Shorthair Pointer. After getting our Aussiedoodles we realized very quickly the joy that they brought to our home and our kids. Their intelligence, beauty, and mild manner were the beginning, and the rest is history. I hope that our Doodles and Australian Shepards bring other families the same joy and happiness that our Doodles and Aussies have brought to our household.
